The month of March provides teachers with lots of things to do in the ESL classroom! Be sure to check out the Month at a Glance here for suggested topics and themes. March is busy with Daylight Savings time beginning, International Women's Day on March 8th, the Spring Equinox on March 20th (or depending on where you live, March 21st) and Earth Hour Day on March 28th. And don't forget to teach your students the history and customs of St. Patrick's Day on March 17th. They'll want to know why everyone is wearing green and what it means to be Irish!
